Week 5
Does anyone know why alfalfa sprouts are missing from supermarkets? I spent weeks looking for them with no success!
Sprouts are my favorite veggie-crunch to add to sandwiches. So much so that I pretty much won’t make sandwiches (except PB&J, of course, because PB&J&alfalfa sounds terrible) without them.
Since I couldn’t find them in the store, I decided to do even better, and grow them myself.
My first batch is on the kitchen windowsill and will probably be ready for eating tomorrow. Crunchy crunchy yum!
